THE COLLEEN PERKINS-BAILEY PROJECT
The Colleen Perkins-‐Bailey Project (The CPB Project) was inspired by the life of Chronic Kidney Disease patient, Colleen Perkins-‐ Bailey. Colleen was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease at age 15 and despite the tribulations associated with Chronic Kidney disease, she has still maintained a positive outlook and high quality of life. While currently needing a kidney transplant she continues to live her life abundantly as a mother, mentor, friend, and international flight attendant.
Over 26-‐million people suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease in the United States. The CPB Project’s mission is to bring forth a greater awareness to communities across the country about kidney disease and the ultimate sacrifice—the gift of organ donation. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, The CPB Project is focused on supporting those living with Chronic Kidney Disease as well as, educating families & communities through educational programming—locally and nationally.
